It’s the beginning of a brand new year! What goals have you set for yourself in the sport of SUP or otherwise that you can’t wait to start working on!
If you haven’t already, here’s a few tips to help you get going…
Set measurable and achievable goals and track your progress along the way to getting them. Being able to track and measure your progress helps you see the hard work paying off even when you don’t notice it day to day.
Some of us may live up north and are waiting for the ice to thaw before brushing off your board, but there are still things you can do to stay in shape for paddling. Strength training, cross training, and or even investing in some winter gear that gets you out on the water.
My goals… Crack the top 5 in the World Rankings, (which comes with about 1000 micro goals to get there, training hard, and choosing my target races wisely,) Become confident in the Surf, meditate and stretch everyday, stay injury free!
