It’s great to be part of a global sport that is so young and evolving so quickly. As we approach our official 10 year mark of “modern standup paddling”, it’s fun to have a look back and pay homage to some early pioneers and people who have helped us on our way.
Take John Denney for instance, a sports performance coach who is working with top level athletes from all different disciplines, teaching them how to play the inner game and stay happy. He created and posted this beginner sup instructional video almost 10 years ago and much of it is still relevant today. There are useful tidbits in the video for anyone looking to get out on the water for the first time.
This video (at the time of this post) is only about 13k short of 1 million views on Youtube. We hope you get past that milestone…Thank you John!
