Paddle for Recovery: designed to support the recovery process in cancer patients with Casi Rynkowski & BIC Sup

Global Partner

It’s no secret that Mother Nature can help heal.  Add in movement or exercise and the benefits grow.  New studies have shown that outdoor activity can aid in recovery from disease, reduction of stress, increases in concentration, and improve overall health and well being.  BIC Sup’s powerhouse ambassador, Casi Rynkowski, is taking that study to a whole new level with her Paddle for Recovery program by helping cancer patients and their caregivers get out on the water to feel the healing effects of Mother Nature.  Feature photo by:  Rachel McCarty

Paddle for Recovery, sponsored by BIC Sup, is designed to support the recovery process in cancer patients.

Paddle for Recovery is a FREE standup paddle class for recovering cancer patients and a friend or family member who supported them through treatment.  As many of us know, cancer – when it strikes – can have devastating effects on both the individual as well as their family.  Casi Rynkowski, BIC Sup ambassador, knows from her own personal experience how families, friends, and acquaintances take on this disease and how it can impact lives forever.

Paddle for Recovery is Casi’s personal mission to provide opportunities to individuals undergoing treatment and their caregivers to escape on to the water and -she hopes – to bring them to a new passion that can assist in the individual’s daily recovery.  The first class is scheduled for June 24th, 2017 at the Kayak Centre of Rhode Island in North Kingston, RI.
