“We are so excited to win a paddleboard!
imagination contest winnerWe work with Youth with A Mission and our team is based in Croatia www.YWAMcroatia.com. We use sailing and water sports as a tool for character development, youth work, and sail training. We work with young people from Croatia and abroad and also alongside the local Church here to serve the poor and needy. Each summer, we help to run a camp for Croatian kids, teaching them English and providing the opportunity for extreme fun!

We own a sailboat that we use for our work and now we own a paddle board too! So often, young Croatian kids see the tourists coming each year and having fun out on the water but it can be too expensive for the locals, so we like to provide a way to get them on the water too. Thanks for everyone who voted for us. You have really blessed us and others here in Croatia.” -Jarod

Title:
SUP pup Emmy

Author:
Julia SUP Paramedic Brunngartner

Description:
My favorite spot together with my SUP pup is at my hometone Berne, called "CampingplatzJuliusplate". We have a river called "Weser" and some very nice dog beaches between Berne and Elsfleth. Sometimes a lonesome seal visite us. On the photo you can see the cute SUP pup "Emmy" from my friend Tanja. Tanja took the photo as Emmy shared some wet kisses with me. My favorite board type? It depends! Meanwhile I use my 14,0 Naish Race SUP, sometimes I use my no name 12,6 touring iSUP and sometimes I use my 10,8 Red Paddle Glide. SUP means for me - realaxing after a 24 hour shift at the ambulance - going outside with my beloved SUP pup - doing some fitness, which is also important for my job as a paramedic - enjoying the nature, the water and the beaches
