This charitable event will help provide money to Wings for Life Research Foundation, and Graham Faught, who has recently experienced a spinal cord injury. Boundary Bay will host a silent auction to raise funds for this great cause.

Items to be sold include a Jimmy Lewis Stand Up Paddle Board, Dakine Luggage, a Ryan Sheckler autographed skate deck, a state of the art thin film solar charger, and more!

This event is being organized by SUP San Juans, a new group of local Stand Up Paddle boarders and friends with the mission of helping people transition back to normal life after their spinal cord injury. To raise awareness for this cause, Matthew Friedlander of SUP San Juans, will launch his Stand Up Paddle Board from Washington Park in Anacortes, with the goal of paddling around the perimeter of Washington’s San Juan Islands.

Carrying all his own food, water, and camping supplies, this will be the first self-contained SUP trip of its kind in the islands. Stop by Boundary Bay Friday evening and celebrate this accomplishment with Matthew and show your support.
