Red Bull Heavy Water Preview and Sup Heroes Interview

Red Bull Heavy Water Preview and Sup Heros Interview

Here’s an insider look into the Red Bull Heavy Water, San Francisco Stand Up World Series Stop 3.

Many of the world’s top competitors will be heading out into possible 15-foot surf on their 12’6” race boards in conditions that are anything but beginner!

With no real takeout points, rough surf, and the fact the tide fluctuates 2 million acres of water, this is sure to be an exciting race.  The area at Lands End is responsible for most of the Coast Guards water rescues.  Oh ya…And this wave also barrels, so these guys could potentially be barreling their way to victory on race boards!

Just to put it into perspective Kai Lenny says, “On a 12’6” Stand up paddleboard, 3-foot waves feel like 10-foot waves and 10-foot waves feel like 30-foot waves.”  It sure to be a hell of a ride!

Can’t wait to see this!
