Sup Adventure Dolphin Selfie and Stingray Rescue Attempt

Just another day out standup paddling for John Gabriel in Long Beach, CA

“On this day, we came across a small pod of dolphins herding around a school of fish! They were super playful and let us hang with them for about an hour. On our way back in we noticed a fishing bobber that was moving the opposite direction of the current, so we decided to investigate.  We were unfortunately unable to free the stingray, as we did not have the proper gear and didn’t want to risk getting stung.”

John is a very passionate sup racer and surfer and if he’s not training for a race or surfing, days like these are a welcome alternative!
