Tragedy Strikes: First known US sup river-running death Hi Everybody, we just got word from our friends Les and Mary Stansell  that northern California coast resident, standup paddler Heather Bishop was killed while suping the Chetco River, on the southern Oregon coast this past weekend.  We are so saddened to hear this news.
