San Diego, November 26, 2014 – FCS congratulates Candice Appleby on another Battle of the Paddle victory, this time in Brazil.

Candice defeated Laura Quetglas and a field of esteemed women’s racers in both the elite and long distance races once again proving that the combination of Appleby and FCS are hard to beat.

Candice once again used her signature FCS race fin to cover distance round buoys efficiently and ride waves to basically smoke the competition.

Candice said, “On the final day of competition we had a challenging distance race piling against currents, headwinds and many elements. I had fun battling some of the guys in some competitive drafting packs and enjoy paddling the last half of the course along with some strong wind at my back to win the women’s elite.”

“FCS salutes Candice and her dedication to the sport and improving the products FCS makes! That drives everyone’s performance faster and further.” Said Tyler Callaway of FCS.
